Water temperature affects all fishes and invertabrates. Higher temperature increases respiration and speeds up aging. This results in excessive waste and proliferation pf bacterial. Extreme temperature lowers oxygen in water which is essential for fishes to breath. Managing a constant temperature has its benefits while different species of fish will soawn and mate at its preferred temperature.
